DOBERMAN / PLANT OPERATOR TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

Plant Operator Training and Development

Practical plant operator training and advanced development on your equipment, built around the work your team needs to deliver. Doberman supports contractors, plant owners, hire businesses and manufacturers across the UK and Ireland.

Develop capability on the actual job

Experienced operators may need support with an unfamiliar attachment, specialist machine or demanding application. We help them understand the equipment, plan the sequence and improve machine control in site conditions.

The work can cover excavators and specialist earthmoving or shoring equipment, attachment familiarisation, equipment demonstration and practical knowledge transfer. Agree the machines, operator experience, learning objectives and site arrangements before the session.

Choose the support your team needs

  • Equipment familiarisation: controls, operating limits, attachment behaviour and the relevant manufacturer instructions.
  • Advanced operator development: positioning, sequencing, material handling and techniques for a particular application.
  • Demonstration and early project support: practical operation while the team becomes familiar with an accepted setup.
  • Method improvement: examine where handling, access or attachment changes interrupt production.

MOVAX demonstration and familiarisation

Doberman has received manufacturer training on MOVAX SG side-grip pile drivers, DH piling hammers and MPL multi-tool piling leaders. We provide operation, demonstration and site-based familiarisation for this equipment, with the actual carrier, attachment configuration and project method agreed before work.

Our MOVAX and sheet-piling service explains the working sequence. The piling equipment guide compares piling methods and equipment, including excavator carriers, handling and attachment connections.

Plan a useful session

Agree the task, operator experience, machinery and intended outcome. Establish a suitable work area, supervision and operating controls, then focus demonstration and guided work on the task. Finish by reviewing what the operator is ready to undertake and any further development needed.

Formal qualifications and certification

These sessions provide site-based operator development and equipment familiarisation for an agreed task. If you need a formal qualification, test or accredited course, tell us when enquiring so the appropriate arrangements can be confirmed separately.

Discuss operator development

Send the site location, machine and attachment details, number and experience of operators, dates and the task you want them to perform. If a formal qualification is required, identify it at the start so the correct arrangements can be made.
