DOBERMAN / WEBSITE INFORMATION AND TECHNICAL DISCLAIMER

Website information and technical disclaimer

How to use Doberman’s website information, and the checks needed before applying it to a project.

Last updated: 4 October 2026. This notice covers technical information published by Doberman Group Ltd on doberman.co.uk, including guides, equipment comparisons, articles, photographs and public website downloads. It explains the intended use of that information. It does not replace the terms of a separately agreed engagement.

General information, not a project instruction

Our website helps clients understand equipment, compare approaches and prepare questions for project specialists. General information cannot establish that a particular method, machine, attachment or configuration is suitable or safe for your project.

Do not use website content as a stand-alone instruction for construction, lifting or plant operation. It is not a project-specific design, equipment approval, risk assessment, method statement, lift plan or substitute for competent supervision and training.

Check the actual project and equipment

Before selecting equipment or carrying out work, obtain the competent project-specific assessment and approvals that the work requires. These may include ground investigation, structural and temporary-works design, working-platform assessment, lifting arrangements, environmental controls and the agreed safe system of work.

Check the current manufacturer instructions, load charts, operating limits and compatibility requirements for the exact machine, attachment and complete assembled configuration. Confirm the condition, inspection status and setup of the actual equipment. An example or comparison on this website does not authorise a modification, safety-system override or departure from an equipment limit.

GPS and machine-guidance information also depends on the supported equipment and software, the correct design model, site coordinates, calibration and the required checks of the completed work. Guidance and recorded data do not themselves approve the installation.

Requirements vary by site and jurisdiction. Confirm the laws, standards, permissions and project requirements that apply where the work will take place, including relevant UK or Irish requirements. If information conflicts or suitability is uncertain, resolve the issue with the responsible project specialist or manufacturer before proceeding.

Technical data, examples and performance

We take reasonable care when preparing website information, but equipment specifications, supplier information and working requirements can change, and errors or omissions may occur. Check important information against the current primary documentation before making a procurement, design or operational decision.

Published dimensions, capacities, production rates, costs and other figures must be read with their stated context and assumptions. Examples and past project experience are not a promise that another project will achieve the same output, accuracy, cost, programme or environmental result. An indicative figure is not a project-specific design value or a quotation.

Manufacturers, links and illustrations

Naming a manufacturer, supplier, product or technique does not, by itself, confirm approval of a particular combination, current availability, sponsorship or an agency relationship. Check the exact product and application with the relevant supplier. Third-party links are provided as references; their content and updates are outside our control.

Photographs, videos and short descriptions illustrate equipment or particular stages of work. They do not show every site condition, control or step and must not be treated as a complete safe working method.

Project-specific services and responsibilities

Viewing this website or sending an initial enquiry does not, by itself, appoint Doberman to design, approve, supervise or take responsibility for a project. Any services we undertake have their own agreed scope, responsibilities and applicable terms. Confirm those arrangements before relying on project-specific advice or instructions.

This notice does not override any duty or binding commitment Doberman has under an agreed engagement or applicable law. It does not transfer statutory health and safety duties between clients, designers, contractors, employers, operators or other dutyholders. Where specialist input is needed, the appropriate competent person must be involved.

Your legal rights

This notice does not exclude liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit. Your statutory rights, including consumer rights where applicable, remain unaffected.

Explaining the limits of general website information does not remove Doberman’s responsibility for services it actually provides or for duties it legally owes.
